Hi there! I am Abby (she/her). This June, I will be graduating from Washington State University Vancouver with my Master’s in Teaching. I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2024. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Communities, and Organizations with Disability Studies and American Indian Studies minors. I have been caring for children for 6 years as a babysitter and as the oldest sibling, as well as supervising children in summer camp and school settings. My babysitting experience ranges in ages from infant to twelve. I recently cared for a one year old for six months, starting when she was only six months herself - this included diaper changes, feedings, putting her down for naps, and taking her on adventures to Kids Club, swimming, and free events at the local library. I have also babysat toddlers and assisted them with potty training. I also babysit families with siblings ranging in ages of 2-4 and 6-10. I truly love working with kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. With each family I understand cleaning is not expected but light housework such as dishes, vacuuming, and tidying up the toy room is no problem for me! I have experience babysitting children with ASD and ADHD. I have found success in building relationships with these children through discussing triggers, what the child enjoys, and boundaries with parents before we start working together. I am also passionate about working with children with disabilities in the school setting. I am currently a substitute, often filling in as a paraprofessional. From September 2023 to May 2024 I held an internship as a substitute paraprofessional in the Seattle Public School system, regularly working at Concord International Elementary School. Nothing makes me happier than reading, doing crafts, playing games/puzzles and being outside! My number one focus is keeping the children happy but most importantly safe. I have my CPR certification and can run a background check upon request. I can provide references upon request. Currently I'm available ONLY on weekends, hopefully for the occasional date night. I am looking for a family that would be in need of upcoming summer care. I'd love to meet your family and get to know your children!

Abby worked for our family for almost a year from when our daughter was 3 months to 1 year. Abby was our daughter's favorite childcare provider, and main provider. Abby is an excellent childcare provider and I recommend her wholeheartedly. Abby brings an attention to detail, positivity and respect for the family. She started on day one bringing developmental knowledge to the way she cares for our daughter., and introduces activities She was very communicative at all aspects. From scheduling, sharing her location when with our daughter and checking in on ideas for community enrichment activities. When our daughter was napping, Abby would help clean or tidy which was definitely not a requirement or even request. She showed such care and respect for our daughter and her development, I am thankful and recommend hiring her. Thank you Abby!

I’m a sophomore at Santa Clara University, and I’ve enjoyed working with kids of different ages over the past few years. I’ve nannied for a one-year-old and a middle school boy, and I also tutored elementary school students back in high school. I’m dependable, patient, and love creating a fun, engaging environment for kids of all ages. I’m happy to help with schoolwork, routines, or just keeping kids engaged throughout the day. I’d love to connect with a family looking for steady, caring help.

Hello! My name is Jillian, and I’m an Army Veteran. Prior to the military I loved to babysit while in high school, for multiple different families. After getting honorably discharged, I was a behavioral health technician for children and a part-time teacher aid at my local elementary school. I just previously for almost 2 years worked at a children’s gym where I taught children from 4 months to 11yrs beginning tumbling/gymnastics skill. And through this job I have been background checked and have received CPR/AED for infants, children, and adults. I took a small break and now I have full availability and am super interested in working personally with families again and helping out when I can! If you have any further questions/inquiries message me. Thank you! Jillian

I love working with kids! It is so much fun helping kids build their imagination and grow into their little personalities! I've been working at a daycare center for the past year and am looking to become a nanny. I've also worked at summer camps since I was 14. I'd love to support a singular family long term and work more one on one with kids rather than be in a large class. I am CPR and first aid certified and am currently working on my elementary education degree online. Most recently I've been working with 4 and 5 year olds, but I miss working with toddlers and the younger kids. I'm excited to partner with you and your family in this next season!
