I started my career with children when I was in my early teens babysitting. From there I became a swim instructor at the YMCA teaching children from 2 years of age to 10 for over a year. I then became the assistant teacher at a child care center. I loved everything about working there. I worked there for over a year before I decided to go full time in school studying early childhood education. I love children very much and they are very dear to my heart. I believe it is so important to not only care and pay attention to children's physical needs but also their mental and emotional needs.
