I’m moving back to the Appleton area after spending a year in Madison! I like spending time at the park, bike rides, and attempting to draw. I started babysitting when I was 11 or 12, so it’s been a while. I’ll have a part time job at Athleta and am looking for something else to go along with that! While in Madison I was an assistant manager at Banana Republic.

I am currently a student at Lawrence University studying psychology. I have experience with a range of children varying in needs and age. Every child is different and I hope to bring them joy by learning to nurture their needs.

I love being a sitter because it's super rewarding to watch them learn and grow while you're helping them out. Plus, every day is different and you get to be creative with activities and games. I've had the chance to babysit for two different families before, which has been an incredible experience. With both families, I looked after their daughters both around 6-7 years old after school, creating fun art projects and outdoor games to keep them entertained. Also, I'm CPR certified and staff at Greenville Middle School until 2 PM every day, so I'm constantly around kids and know how to handle different situations.

The past three years during the summer, I have babysat 7:30-4:30 for a family, four days a week. I’m an extroverted and social sitter! As someone who comes from a larger family, babysitting was a must. In high school I used to volunteer to teach younger girls how to dance. This had sparked the love for working with kids! Though with no “actual” experience I felt this seemed like a good part-time gig.
