I've had a wide variety of child care experience with kids from 1 yr to 14 yrs of age. I started babysitting in high school, with your general date night sitter work, then moved on to over-nights for an EMT, so I'm very familiar with a post-school/dinner/bed time routine. Since then, I've nannied for a family with 4 children (2, 4, 6, and 8, at the beginning of my 2 yrs with the family) where I was responsible for breakfast and off to school, as well as the entire day with the youngest and a toddler from another family, then after school snack, homework, playtime, dinner, baths, and sometimes bedtime if mom had to work late. I cooked 2-3 meals a day 5 days a week, as well as light housework and laundry, but primarily just keeping the kids engaged, active, caught up on homework etc. I haven't had a Read more full time child care position since that one, but I've done evening work with homework/dinner and staying overnight. In addition to general child care, I have also tutored children through volunteer work with Key Club/Circle K, in a variety of subjects. I also completed a year of an early childhood education degree before switching majors. My availability can be extremely flexible with enough notice, and I'm willing to work with your needs! While I do not own a car, I have reliable transportation, but would not be able to have the car with me for work purposes.
