Hello! My name is Taylor, I am a former Assistant teacher with two years of classroom experience looking to help out families in Deerfield and surrounding areas over the summer. I’ve worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old, and I absolutely love the time I have spent time with my students helping them learn, play, and grow. I’m BLS (Basic Life Support) certified, which means I’m trained to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies with CPR and other lifesaving techniques in infants, children and adults. I’m also certified in First Aid and have specific training managing allergies, so you can feel comfortable knowing your child is in safe hands. I also speak sign language due to having hard of hearing and deaf family, which can be especially helpful for little ones learning to communicate in different ways. I’m also pet-friendly whether you have cats, dogs, fish, or even something a little more unusual, I’m happy to help care for your furry, feathered (or scaly!) family members, too. This fall, I’ll be relocating to an Army base out of state with my fiancé so, I am only available up to mid September. Until then, I’m open to occasional, part-time, or even full-time/live-in babysitting positions (with the exception of Thursdays as this is when I volunteer at the fire department). I have decided to pursue a babysitting roll rather than continue my Teaching career, due to my inability to continue into this years up coming school season. I would love to spend my last Wisconsin summer continuing to work with kids and helping families. My base rate is around $10-15/hour, but I’m more than happy to be flexible depending on your family’s needs and budget.
