Meet Morgan

Hello! My name is Morgan and I recently graduated from college with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, aka Speech Therapy. I chose this degree because I liked kids and felt communication was an important tool everyone should have access to. These past couple years I was able to interact with kiddos that had special needs whether that was in job shadowing or clinical observations. I'm familiar with what learning objectives are appropriate for certain ages so it's easy for me to interact with kiddos across various ages. In college I was in Air Force ROTC which taught me qualities like time-management, responsibility, etc. which I consider important especially taking care of someone else's children. I'm not currently certified, but in the past have been for CPR and am familiar with the procedures. This past year I worked for my universities athletic department as a Community Relations Intern. My primary responsibilities Read more were event management and facilitating interactions between athletes and kiddos. I became more familiar with events that kids love, ie: ice-skating, etc. I love the outdoors and being active. I grew up with a brother so I'm used to playing football, canoeing, etc. I'm comfortable with cats/dogs. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
