My experience includes caring for children from birth to 12 years, and I have a passion for supporting and walking alongside families! I grew up helping my mom care for friends' kids in our home and volunteering in our church nursery, and I started babysitting when I was 12. It was always second nature, and I nannied for several families during semester breaks from college and after graduation. I've been blessed to know and grow with multiple families over the course of the years. I've cared for single and multiple families in their homes, ran childcare at church, and worked in a therapeutic foster home. I graduated Fall of 2010 with a Bachelor's in Psych, focusing on cognitive and developmental psych as well as marriage and family systems. I like to foster good relationships with parents as well as the kiddos, as I think it s important to have open, Read more honest, and healthy communication. I'm a firm believer that learning happens primarily through adventures and hands-on interaction, and I enjoy taking the little ones on walks, going to the park, the library, zoos, museums, etc. I love the opportunities to get into nature that Seattle provides, even in the drizzle :) I can provide a number of strong recommendations from families I've known and grown with over the years.
