Hello! My name is Kayla, I’m 23 years old, and have a year of work related child care experience, but I’ve worked with children (ages 4-13) for about 6 years. I’ve also worked with kiddos that have mental and/or physical health disorders. When I work with children I love to include active activities such as, going for a walk, playing outdoors, going to the park, using sidewalk chalk, etc. Indoor activities i generally include are: being crafty, reading, playing board games, etc. My personality is generally pretty energetic, but also decently laid back. I consider myself a problem solver, but also being mindful in certain circumstances. And I’m calm but collected in stressful situations. When there is downtime, I do like to clean up/tidy, I also will help with any homework that needs to be finished! I love to cook and bake. And I’m great with many animals/reptiles.
