I am a 57 year old mother of 2 adult daughters and grandmother of 7 granddaughters. I am retired social worker, however I do miss being with people. I have taken care of people of all ages and stages in their lives. I would love to sit with child. I have taught parenting classes in the past as a part of one of my therapist positions . And I'm looking to take care of children as I love children. I especially love working with the infants through 7 years of age. I hold a Masters in social work and continue to keep my license current because it all the changes in the field keep the mind on it toes! Call me, I'm not a texter quite yet, however that will be a gift one of my granddaughters gets and then I will need to learn how to text (and they Read more want to teach me) how much more adorable can life be when your granddaughters what to teach you how to deal with technology. On the other side of teaching I believe in reading to children, having play session which are structured for critical thinking and decision making. Children in my care have always had the best time playing while they are learning--it is the easiest way to teach and that is through play.
