I love working with children. When I was 12, I first began babysitting family friends' kids and neighbors, and eventually went on to be a camp counselor at the camp I grew up going to. When I got into my early 20's, I began working at a day treatment center for autistic kids ages 2-6. Soon after, I realized I wanted to continue dedicating my life to working with kids. I went to graduate school at the University of MN and graduated with my Masters of Social Work this past May. I participated in two internships, one at an intermediate, level 4 elementary school and another at a pediatric hospital. I am currently taking a small break from social work to focus on myself and my family. I would love to tell you more about my journey!
