I’ve done childcare for the last 17 years … the last 13 were infant care primarily as I helped open an infant only daycare that was licensed for 16 infants. I was the lead infant teacher there and the last 10 months prior to Covid I was teaching preschool in the two-year-old room. For as long as I can remember even while having a full time job I’ve always babysat for families throughout the week and often times most weekends too! I have since stayed out of daycare‘s because I’m diabetic and have had my own daughter in the last year so I’ve wanted to utilize my skills and offer care in my home which was a much cleanlier environment than the daycare.
