I am a mother of three wonderful children who are now adults. I was an elementary cross categorical teacher for over 10 years in the Madison Metropolitan School District. I currently work full-time teaching students who have developmental and behavioral disabilities in a short term treatment unit so they may get the interventions they need and to return to their homes and school. I enjoy children of all different ages! They each offer their own unique personalities and it is fun to help children who are growing through their particular development stages. It is very important to me that children of all ages feel safe and cared for. I am committed to following parent plans for consistent care giving and am also happy to problem solve around new behaviors or anxieties that may arise, if someone should ask me. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I Read more raised my children and helped many friends and family over the years with caring for their children. I am well versed in the developmental benchmarks and safety needs of all ages of children. Most of all, I understand that parents and guardians have so many responsibilities and also need to have time to take care of themselves. I can assure that you will comfortable and safe with your children in my care.
