Hi there! (Preschool teacher looking for something new!!)... My name is Lulu and I am transitioning from Philadelphia to WI. ----I have spent the last school year working as preschool teacher at a progressive Jewish preschool called CCJP. The school practices the ideology of Reggio Emilia. Its an approach to children's education that is self guided, experiential, and stresses the importance of respect. Before that I have worked in a grade 4 classroom as a teachers aid. I have ran after school programs and taught art classes at a farm camp in upstate NYC. I have experience with all ages and also work well with children who may struggle with autism or hyper activity. A little bit about who I am as a child care taker: I am patient, caring, silly and relatable to children. I love to play and laugh. I can make a game out of anything! I Read more have the spunk that makes me connect to more energetic children, as well as the compassion that allows more reserved kids space to open up. I attended Bennington college in Rural Vermont. There I studied mediation law and art. I have plans to find work in those fields some day but while I am transitioning I hope to work with kids, simply because its just a true joy! Thank you!!!!
