Hello! I'm Ashley and I am a full-time educator with extensive childcare experience looking for an occasional weekend babysitting position with a family in the Madison area. Originally from Charleston, SC, I earned a BFA from Clemson University and then an MFA from Tufts/SMFA. My background in the arts and education makes me a creative and adept child care provider. I am always up for helping with homework or school projects and would love to spark your child's creativity with formal visual arts instruction or more explorative arts based projects. After graduate school, I worked for a variety of schools and education non-profits teaching, developing curriculum, and coordinating programing. I spent the the 2015/2016 school year working as a teacher and nanny, homeschooling and caring for three American children (ages 5, 7, and 10) while we traveled abroad with their family.
