I am a 23 year old single mother of a 5 year old girl. I started babysitting at age 12 because I've always aged mature for my age and parents trusted me very much with the care of their children. At that age I had also taken the red cross babysitting course where I learned different techniques such as the Heimlich maneuver and CPR and etc. At the most when I was younger I watched 5 kids at once and did very well. And l do know how to handle babies as well due to having my own. To add on to the babysitting if the parents had a busy lifestyle or their house really needed a cleaning I would do that as well because I knew they would appreciate coming home to a clean house and well taking of children.
