HI! I'm Nikki and thinking back I've been babysitting for 16 years (which also makes me feel OLD!), I started babysitting in 5th grade and continued working for many families in Northern Wisconsin through high school graduation. Upon graduation from Merrill High School, I attended UW-Madison. I swore I would never become my mother (who holds a degree in Early Childhood), however, maturity and some wonderful experiences led me to receive a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. During my time at UW Madison, I served three years with an AmeriCorps program called Project Grow, where I taught preschool and prepared underprivileged 4 & 5 year olds for kindergarten. I have also spent countless hours working in research, which include mindfulness and preschoolers, children of incarcerated parents, and mothers with postpartum depression.
