Parent, former educator, and connected caregiver. Becoming a parent has been the best job I have ever had. I believe that there really is no better gift in life. I want to give care to both the child and the parent. It really does take several hands to do the work. I encourage the parent to do their best and breathe. People who have watched me sooth fussy babies have been with fascinated or frustrated how easily I have done it. Caregiving and soothing babies to find comfort is emotional, physical & even about sharing our calm. I will come to you with my cup full. I will talk and sing to your little one like my own. My apologies for being tone deaf- but my audience usually can’t tell anyone how bad it is. I use a lot of natural language. I talk with the baby a tremendous amount. Read more Narration while in nature, or identifying feelings and emotions are a big thing with me. Lots of pointing out things in their environment. Reading and play is a fun way to fill time. I think music is incredibly beneficial, but I rarely use screens with children. I will honor your preferences- but I am not a fan. I have many years of Child Development experience. I find these precious humans fascinating. Their safety, their wellbeing and their care is my biggest priority while they are with me. My recent employment was with a family in Hawk’s Landing. I was with them for 6 months. It was a privilege to be with them. Part of my role was Home Management, Infant Care, & attending sick visits to the pediatrician. I even got the chance to “read” a bunch of books in mandarin/english.” I was fun! I am a well read parent on Medical & Educational Advocacy. I am comfortable asking respectful questions for clarification & collaboration. I believe parents should lead the care of their children. I will support any way I can. Warm Regards, Robyn
