Hello, my name is Chloe and I am 20 years old. I’m I am a positive and creative person who has many years of experience caring for children. This includes babysitting and volunteering at my church. My most recent job was providing after school care for a nonverbal teenager. In high school, I had an internship where I worked with a couple of Deaf students. I went to a nearby elementary school where I worked with two preschoolers who had no language background, and I helped teach these students ASL. I also went to a middle school which had a program that helps special needs high school graduates get a job. I worked with one student by interpreting for her. Having this experience with this internship inspired me to work with special needs children, especially deaf children.
