During the school year, I work as a Library Media Aide in an K-5 elementary school, so I have a comprehensive understanding of children's literature, and I very much enjoy reading books aloud to/with children. I am a parent myself and I also have experience working as a substitute teacher and as a performer with a science-based children’s edutainment company. I am halfway through a MLIS graduate program. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages and personality types, especially those who are curious and have a lot of questions about the world. I prefer working in pet-free homes due to allergies. I have a drivers license and a safe, newer vehicle. I also have training and experience in managing food allergies and administering epinephrine injections.
