I am a nanny/preschool teacher with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Fine Arts. I used to teach English and literature at the college level, but while substituting at Hoyne Street Playgroup, I liked the fact that younger children seek out learning experiences. I prefer working with three or fewer children under the age of 10. Child-related cleaning, driving, and healthy cooking are expected duties. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I dislike television and video games and steer my charges toward more imaginative play. I keep busy writing books for children (so far unpublished), playing ukulele, drawing, and gardening.
