Meet Natalia

Hello! My name is Natalia. I am an 18 year old college student. I am studying to become a high school English teacher. From that little detail, it can be assumed that I love all things reading and writing related! I have always been surrounded by children in my family. Between my siblings and I, the age gap is pretty big. Because of that, I’ve been blessed with nieces and nephews from a very young age (4!). I’ve always taken care of them when my brother or sister would go on date nights, but this past summer I did it more as a part time job. I watched 4 kids from the ages of 2 to 10! They’re a wild bunch, but everyday was an adventure. Some of the things we would do were go in hikes, visit a kitty room we have close to us, read, play sports outside, Read more play board games, bake, and our favorite, watch the sunset when we could with music playing! It is safe to say I love being part of their lives and enjoy watching them grow as people. The toddler who I watched expanded her vocabulary so much during those three months, I loved seeing that. The best thing about babysitting is that each day is different. Being able to adjust and accommodate to the moods the kids are in is something very important. I had to do it frequently with the kids I watched, and on their sad days, I’d make sure to do fun stuff to cheer them up!
