Hello, my name is Samantha Toman. I was born in Ashland, WI and raised on the Bad River Reservation in Odanah, WI. All of my schooling includes; graduation from Ashland High School in 2006, graduated from Ashland WITC in 2008 with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and last year on May 22, 2016, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since from start to finish of my schooling I have accumulated training for CPR/First Aid, Shaking Baby, Background Checks, Tuberculosis tests and many other training's through my work site here at the Bad River Headstart. I am a lead teacher during the school year and off during the summer. Some of my babysitting skills began when I was 10 years old. I used to help babysit with my grandmother for my aunts 4 girls. I baby sat them from newborn to 8 Read more years of age. She even had a set of twins that kept me very busy. Once I got older and my moms 3 friends needed a babysitter. I would baby sit for them during the week, weekends and did some overnights. I babysat for their infants, toddlers and all the way up to their school age children. I built strong bonds with the children and still communicate with most of them today. Not only did I build a bond with the children I connected with the whole family as well. I am very reliable, punctual, respectful, honest and hard working. I love planning fun activities for the children to do inside as well as outside. Throughout all my babysitting experiences I did cooking, cleaning and bathing all the children.
