I am a sophomore at Edgewood College and I am studying Elementary Education and Theater Education. I love to work with kids because it is where I feel most helpful in the world. I love to play and be creative and in adulthood those opportunities come around less often unless you are working with kids! I also love to tutor and share the knowledge I am blessed to have. I am looking for babysitting jobs here and there to make some extra money. My mom is currently a nanny and I have been to work with her many times and have done my fair share of babysitting in the past. I have no doubt that I would do a great job as your babysitter. I have an Assistant Daycare Teacher Certification although I have never used it. I am mainly looking to take care of Toddler to Elementary aged kids. Read more I would not be as comfortable with kids under the age of 1. I would be able to drive kids to and from activities and I would love to get creative and find activities to do with them. Since I am studying to be a teacher I have lots of classroom experience in Pre-K through 5th grade classrooms so I have no problem handling lots of kids at once. I would feel comfortable with kids having friends around. I also love animals, especially dogs, so having pets around doesn't bother me at all. I am not CPR trained, but I would be able to go through the training if it would be desired. I also have recently been tutoring and mentoring a mentally challenged adult and I love working with him. I have always been comfortable working with kids and adults with disabilities. I have a background check that I would be happy to share, but I did not get one through this website because I have already paid for one through certifiedbackground.com for working in the local elementary schools.
