Hello! My name is Kirah. For the past 6 years I’ve had the pleasure of working in childcare on and off. I began watching kids of family friends when I was around 14, and that sparked my interest to continue that kind of work for a job. I absolutely love spending times with kids, and one of the most special parts of that is seeing them grow. From learning a new word to learning how to walk, it’s so rewarding being a part of it. My experience working with kids ranges from babysitting, to being an individual caregiver for a child with disabilities. That one was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Another amazing opportunity I had was nannying for 3 children, ages 16 months to 6 years old. I’ve also been an assistant teacher in several daycares for ages 1-5. I have some training on Read more autism, I’m CPR and AED certified, and I’ve done some schooling on early childhood education. I’m interested in nannying instead of working in a daycare, because I prefer to form a close relationship with the kids I get to spend time with.
