Hi all! My name is Nora. I'm a board certified Music Therapist currently preparing for graduate school. Currently, I am seeking part time and/or occasional opportunities as a babysitter/nanny. I am a non-smoker, love pets, and have my own transportation. I have been told my personality with children is patient, kind, gentle, warm, and fun-loving. Babysitting Experience: Since age 11, I have acquired much experience as a babysitter. I began with babysitting the children of neighbors and family members. In high school, I worked at Bright Horizons childcare (SC Johnson corporate center). When I went started college, I babysat for four families whom I cared for at Bright Horizons. During college, I provided respite care every other weekend for a school-age boy with Autism. I am a certified childcare teacher and hold an infant and toddler certification, am certified in Basic Life Support, First Aid, as well as CPR Read more for children and adults through the American Heart Association, and am a Certified Nurse Aide in the state of Wisconsin. Some additional background information - I have a Bachelors in Music Therapy from Alverno College and am a nationally board certified Music Therapist. As you might guess, I love helping others and I also love music, which is what led me to pursue this degree. I am a mother to a teenage son & he has been one of life's best teachers when it comes to caring for children and life in general, In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son, exercising, trying new recipes, baking, reading, dancing, and learning new music.
