I first got started in daycare a year after my daughter was born. I had went back to my full time career and would spend the majority of my day worrying about my daughter. So after a year I decided to open up a daycare in my home. I figured if I could give parents the piece of mind that their child was with someone who cared about and was fostering them in a learning , loving and caring environment it would mean the world to them as well as myself. After having my daycare for five years I later became a director for an afterschool care in a Christian School. This eventually lead me to get my substitute teaching certificate.
