I started caring for my siblings and other relatives. In 1983 I became a Certified Babysitter after taking the babysitting safety course. I enjoyed working with children so after high school I continued my education and became a Certified Day Care Teacher in 1994. I worked in the Daycare Setting for years, and then in 1997 I was asked to care for a family in their home. I cared for that family until they were no longer in need of care.
