I consider myself a stay at home mom, though technically I do work part time at the police department. I don't have any certifications, but I've been doing the SAHM gig for 7 years and have been babysitting for family off and on just about the entire time from newborn on up. I had a few rough experiences with babysitters while I was working for the first 6 months of my daughters life so when I was laid off from my job due to the economy crash, I decided I would stay home with her.
