Hello my name is Haleigh, I am 18 years old and have worked at a childcare facility for 5 years as well as work with families in their home on the side. I have worked with children of all ages, as well as children with special needs. I feel that stability is what all children need to make them feel comfortable and loved. Working with children I have learned many valuable lessons a big one I have learned is not all children are the same, and every child reacts and picks up the things differently. I am from Falling Waters WV and I have moved to Frederick fresh out of high school to start my own life, I have 4 siblings and I have always treated them like they were my own children growing up my mother always joked with me as the "mother hen" but everything from bathing, feeding, Read more teaching, or reading them bed time stories I have always loved it. I feel that communications is the best way to go, always making it clear and letting the parents know the progression of their child and any updates! I love teaching children and helping them! I like to develop personal connections with not only the kids but the parents too! I also volunteer at food banks, backpack drives, donations to the homeless, as well as volunteer to help at the homeless shelter. I feel like life is all about spreading kindness and even the slightest bit of kindness can go a long way!
