I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I watched my 8-year-old younger sister. I helped her with homework and made dinner. I also babysat for people in my neighborhood. I worked in the nursery and pre-school room at my church for 3 years. I have babysat for kids 14 months old - 11 years old. I have had to change diapers, prepare bottles, make snacks and meals, give baths, wash dishes, play games indoors and outside, swim with kids, read stories, and put kids to bed. Since 2012 I have worked at Arts in Actions as a teaching assistant and group leader for artistic summer day camps. Through this I worked with kids age 4-12 helping teach theater, teach arts&crafts, and walking groups of kids from place to place. I have worked with special needs people, mostly an adult with a TBI, through their SuperStars artistic program. I Read more have worked with children all around the world on mission trips, most notably in the nursery at a children's home with 5 babies, 2 toddlers, and 5 young ins.
