I have spent probably a good part of my life babysitting/nannying. (I grew up with 8 siblings). I then started doing pay jobs for babysitting- particularly a family with 7 kids (that was fun). I have always loved children and babies. I then got a job at a daycare center for a few years. I worked with toddlers, young children and babies. I worked along side licensed teachers and helped with activities, playtime, naps (whew!), and snack time. It was one of the most memorable times of my life! I then entered college and started taking child development classes to become a preschool teacher. Then I got married and had one of my own- he is now a toddler himself but my love for children and learning about child development has not failed to cease.
