I am a 2015 Ripley High School graduate. I have about 5 years of previous babysitting experience watching younger family members and neighbors. During my senior year of high school, I completed the Early Childhood Education and Development course at Roane-Jackson Technical Center. I also completed an optional Parenting Skills course at Ripley High School. I am First Aid & CPR Certified, have a Food Handlers Certification, and have obtained an Early Childhood Education Certification. I have job experience both as a babysitter and as a childcare worker. I participated in on-the-job training at a childcare facility and currently work there full time. I became a caregiver because my love for learning and teaching children grows everyday. I enjoy helping children learn about their world and gain valuable skills that they can and will use as they grow. I couldn't imagine a more rewarding job than watching children grow and Read more learn. I'm good at my job because I understand child development and recognize milestones. I'm skilled in developmentally appropriate practice and confident in my abilities to help and care for children of all ages.
