I currently work from home as a Business Analyst for Grand Canyon Education M-F 9-5. My husband is a stay at home dad, works part-time, and we are blessed to have help with my mom living next door. I am a recent high school graduate who is continuing my education at Shepherd University majoring in elementary education. I have experience in watching my 2 year old and 1 year old nieces since they were born. Being around them has helped me become patient, responsible, and attentive. I am first aid/CPR certified, fully vaccinated, have my own transportation, am reliable, and I do not smoke.

My name is Melissa and my personal background comes from growing up to be the oldest out of 6 siblings. Not only was my house consisted of sibling rivalry but also secretly all of us not wanting to be apart. The women of my family started as working with children in owning a home day care, teaching early education in church. The only thing that seemed fitting and natural to me was to study, and work with children. I am a certified early education and development teacher which allows me to teach in a preschool setting.
