I am seeking a job in this field as I am a people person who loves to help other people in many areas. I have experience in child care, medical care, and pet care. Out of high school I opened my own day care that I worked and ran on my own where I took care of infants and toddlers. I left this business to become a one on one “nanny” or caretaker of a 3 month old baby whom I cared for a year and a half before they relocated. After this experience I continued my education in the medical field where I studied nursing and attended Blueridge Community College and Shepherd University. I worked in the Emergency room for two yrs, in the NICU for two yrs and my last medical job being at a doctors office working as a medical assistant. I am seeking this opportunity as Read more my company recently closed its doors and left me and many others unemployed. I believe that things happen for a reason, and while I love the medical field, I want to take time to also focus on starting my own family in the near future and in the meantime find a child or children I can care for and give my full undivided attention. I believe that with my past experience in child care and health care will make me a strong candidate for this opportunity as I know how to care for children of all ages as well as provide medical care if needed. I do have my own transportation and I am comfortable with errands and pick up/drop off. I can provide references if desired. I also am one to go above and beyond expectations. I love to help out and will always do more than asked (if that is ok). I will treat your child as my own when in my care and my undivided attention will be on them. I love to help with learning and I will encourage any rules or guidelines asked. If okay with parents I love to do crafts, activities and when holidays or special occasions are near I love to spoil my children in my care with small gifts.
