When I was just a teenager, I helped a family by babysitting their 3 girls who were all different ages. One was only 2, one under 10, and one a pre-teen. I watched them for an extended period of time, taking them to swim at the lake they lived at and preparing all their meals. My main other babysitting experience is with my nephew. I babysat him when his mother had to go back to work when he was only a few months old. There I really learned about caring for a newborn and meeting their needs, even dealing with when he was sick. He is now 4, and I have babysat him several times throughout his upbringing. I spent several years as a lifeguard. Some summers working at multiple locations. One was a small town public pool, another a private lake, and the last one a larger public pool.
