I’m currently a freshman at Shepherd University, majoring in Biology and playing for the women’s golf team. I’ve cared for a few families with kids ranging from 7–12 years old, and I also worked in a pediatric dental office where I comforted and assisted children before and after appointments. A big part of who I am comes from my brother, who has Down syndrome — I’ve helped take care of him my whole life, which has taught me patience, compassion, and understanding. I love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where they feel comfortable and cared for.
