Wife and I have two young kids, 3 and 7.
3 year old is mostly potty trained and wears a pull-up to bed. Older one asks someone to be nearby in bathroom or he gets scared. They like legos, tv, reading, playing.

If sitting at night, you’d need to feel comfortable putting them to bed. Play w them, feed them snacks, help them go potty, read to them, help them brush teeth, etc.
