My husband and I don't have any family close by. We never went on our honeymoon and would like to take a trip for our anniversary this year in October. We have a trip planned in October 18-24 and are looking for overnight childcare for our 9yo son on those days. We could split up the days between multiple sitters if you could only do a few days.
We need someone to take him to and from school, sports practices, cooking light meals, and of course having lots fun with him. He would be in school 8am-1:30 pm during the weekdays. Of course, we wouldn't leave our son with someone for 6 days without really getting to know them and building a relationship with them and our son first, so we would set up a few times to arrange childcare before our trip.
