Seeking a skilled, compassionate Special Education Tutor for a nonspeaking autistic 8 year old in Long Beach. Focus on literacy, math, communication, spelling, and functional learning through individualized instruction. 6 to 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Collaborate with parents and providers on goals and AAC use.
Provide one to one instruction. Adapt curriculum with visual and multisensory supports. Use AAC tools. Support attention and regulation. Build literacy, math, and real world skills. Track progress and share updates.

Bachelor’s required; Special Education preferred. Experience with autism, AAC, and differentiated instruction. Strong communication skills.
