Looking for an afternoon companion — half babysitter, half teacher — to hang out with our very smart, energetic 5-year old son in Mid City Los Angeles.

He loves learning so ideally you would have an interest in teaching, enough to talk about a variety of topics and follow his lead on interest in math and reading.

He loves games and being physical (running, jumping, climbing).

Should have a peaceful way of operating (no authoritarians) but can hold firm limits and can calmly explain why.

He has ADHD and is a flight risk when disregulated. This sounds challenging, and you need to stay vigilant, but caretakers also find him enjoyable and engaging with his curiosity, wit, and sweetness.
