Looking for a warm, flexible, energetic person to support an autistic child at a private school. Child: Speaks fluently, is bright, and attends a general education class. She needs help with transitions, taking breaks, and navigating overwhelming moments.
Candidate: warm, patient, playful, and flexible. We’re looking for someone who can build a positive relationship and can recognize low-level dysregulation early.
You must be able to commute to the school in Thousand Oaks and complete the fingerprint/background clearance required by the school. You’ll also be willing to collaborate with her behavioral therapist (BCBA-D). ABA experience is not required; personality and fit are most important.
