Our daughter is in the final stages of “nervous system recalibration”. She’s becoming conversational for the first time at 8, it’s unbelievable. We’re hiring a babysitter “friend” to help motivate her speech and other skills as she continues to heal.

She is mast cell activation sensitive which means no fragrances or perfumes. Best for her if you can wear newer clothes washed in fragrance free soap (we’ll pay for soap)

She can be very affectionate.
She does sensory activities.
Because of her nervous system she’s very sensitive to shock or too many things to think about. Wall flower is the best approach, ask few questions, comment on what’s she’s doing, show her you’re paying attention.
