Hello, my son is very kind, a good student, and big fan of basketball. We moved to Wethersfield a few years ago, and have been attending CREC schools out of town because we (his mother and I) believe diversity is critical for many reasons. I have a stable engineering job (25 years), have a passion for running, and listening to NPR. I have a wonderful partner of 5 years who lives separately due to work/family distances. We are a happy but atypical family unit.
As a minimum we need a ride from the bus stop to home (3 miles within town). Ideally a sitter could oversee at the house a snack and homework, or 20-30 minutes of supervised exercise (e.g. treadmill, rowing machine, basketball outside, run around the block, ping pong or something to that effect). Ideally 1-2 hours of combined driving & sitting 2-3 days a week, but we can discuss a tailored plan that meets everyone's needs including yours.
