My husband, a Yale graduate student, and I, a science writer, welcomed our daughter Cecilia into our family last November 2024. She is now almost 6 months old and is an active, curious little one who likes to be outdoors and fight naps.

We are looking for a sitter to care for Cecilia once or twice a week or as needed before she goes to daycare in September. My husband is on parental leave, and I work from home, so we are currently covering childcare on our own but would like occasional relief.

We’re hoping to find a sitter who can provide 3-5 hours of care during the afternoons/evenings once or twice a week. Our schedule is relatively flexible.
