Full-Time (now) & Part-Time (later) sitter for a 6-month-old

We're the Perez-Wilsons and we've been lucky enough to have amazing help from our family caring for our 6-month-old, Ellie. Mom (Kristen) works full-time from home and Dad (Allen) is returning to the workforce full time (possibly work-from-home as well). We are not comfortable enrolling Ellie into daycare just yet, and as she grows and becomes more mobile, we realize Grandmas are reaching their limitations as well!
We need someone who can care for, engage, and challenge Ellie throughout the workday. As her nap times increase, it'd be ideal to have an extra hand around the house who can help with light chores. Nothing too intense (i.e.: Ellie's laundry, etc.).
We are hoping to find someone who can provide care full-time (weekdays) through the holidays and then taper-off to Part-Time in the new year as Ellie reaches 1 year of age. We expect to enroll her into daycare thereafter, though we're certainly in no hurry to do so.
We have a small (~25 lb) dog, who at times has protective tendencies towards Ellie & can feel anxious when first getting to know strangers. He will be undergoing training and can be sequestered if necessary.
