We are a two-parent household in the Gonzales/Ascension Parish area with a 2-month-old infant, and we’re looking for a reliable, experienced sitter for occasional care with a flexible schedule. We work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home, but we need help on certain days to run errands, cook, clean, or during rare shift overlaps. Care is not full-time; hours will vary, with occasional daytime help for a few hours and early morning coverage about three days per month from 4:00 am–12:00 pm. We’re looking for someone experienced with newborns who is comfortable following feeding and sleep routines, handling basic infant care (feeding, diapering, soothing, naps), and possibly light baby-related tasks. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, along with reliability, good communication, and comfort with flexible scheduling. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
