Small liberal family with 8 year old and puppy need occasional sitting help

We need someone able to keep our 8 year old son company and also provide cuddles to our 4 month old pit mix puppy, Otter, while my husband works on house construction projects and I run some errands out of the house on my own for a few hours. Nothing major, should be pretty easy.

We’re an emotionally intelligent bunch who talk about our feelings a lot. No yelling or aggression in our house. We’re looking for someone who aligns with that vibe.
