I work 24 hour shifts as a firefighter from 7am to 7am the next day. My wife’s schedule is 4am-4:30pm on a rotating block. We are expecting our newborn in August, and looking for assistance starting around November. We have 1 cat and 1 dog, but no pet care or housekeeping is necessary (other than the occasional petting).

We are looking for assistance minimum once a week depending on work schedules. In a month, there are at least two short shifts and two long shifts. Twice a month we would need 3am-7 a.m. care followed by the nanny dropping off the baby to our daycare and we would be responsible for picking her up in the evenings.

Our schedule is confusing and difficult, therefore we will be as accommodating as we can be with arrangements, responsibilities, and pay. We also understand that our schedules will need to be explained further, and we are more than happy to share more if needed.
