Occasional care needed. There are a few days that school is closed and she hasn't been approved for any childcare services. She is non- verbal and communicates mostly with gestures. She knows her routine and is compliant with daily living skills assistance (changing her pull-up, wiping her face, getting dressed, etc.) Experience working with children who have special needs is important but not necessarily required. She's a very easy going and adjusts extremely well to changes given her diagnosis. The position could also come with the occasional weekdays , some evenings, date nights or special events.
