Hello! I’m an active-duty Air Force member and full-time UNC nursing student looking for a dependable, caring morning babysitter/nanny for my elementary school-aged son. Schedule: * Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays * 6:00 a.m. until school bus pickup (or occasional school drop-off if needed) * Approximately 2 hours per morning Responsibilities: This is primarily a supervision role. Because I have early classes and clinicals, I am unable to be there for school bus pickup or school drop-off on my assigned mornings. My son is very independent, so I’m looking for someone to supervise his morning routine and ensure he stays on track with getting ready for school (brushing his teeth, getting dressed, eating breakfast, packing his backpack, etc.). He also has a few light morning chores, so I simply need someone to encourage him to stay on task and complete them before leaving for school. The position would also include walking him to the neighborhood bus stop and ensuring he gets on safely or if need be take him to school 10 minutes away. Who I’m looking for: * Reliable, punctual, and dependable. * Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. * Comfortable around cats (we have one friendly cat). * Experience with elementary-aged children. * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. * Background check and references preferred. Because I’m balancing military commitments and nursing school, having someone I can count on is incredibly important. I’m hoping to find someone who can become a trusted part of our weekly routine.
